Teaching can be the best, but that doesn't mean it isn't tiresome.

Being a teacher can bring great moments, but it can also bring moments when you completely doubt the path you have chosen. I'm assuming all this. The closest I ever got to being a teacher was giving extra classes to kids who were performing badly at school. But I did realize some things about the whole teaching thing from it. For example, I realized that kids can actually be hilarious, even when they aren't intending to. But I also realized that when they have their mind set on not wanting to work, then they just don't. And being firm enough so they do as you say but aren't afraid of you is really hard --especially when you do not possess a teaching degree that has taught you have to achieve that. In my case, some kids were almost impossible to work with, and it took so many classes to just get them to answer me or actually write what I was explaining. It was really hard.

Teaching can be really rewarding: making a kid learn something, the joy on their faces when they actually understand, their curiosity when they ask you about it because they want to know more. That is magical, and nothing will ever be as rewarding as that. When you see or live through one of these situations, you understand why somebody would choose teaching as a career path. It can actually be beautiful getting to teach the new generation. But all this does not mean that everything will always be perfect and magical in a classroom. It can also be a hostile place where you feel like you can't even teach due to the behavior of the children. Or you go back home feeling sad and tired from all the screaming that kids do. That's why having some vacation time completely changes the school dynamics and the teacher's predisposition toward the class and the students. It's needed. f not give that time, it can cause some severe tiredness in the teacher, and nothing works as it should.
